Grand Mosquée Hassan II – largest mosque in morocco with the world’s tallest minaret (60 stories high)

went to another mosque place, which slowly got boring :/ i think we visited like a total of 6/7/8 (???) mosques during the trip.

2 (153)
went to an old prison which was built underground. the weather was super scorching by this time (around 2pm), so going underground was actually very comfy and cooling!

visited the tannery (where skins and hides are tanned) and it sure stank.
top right: the white buckets are filled with pigeon droppings to soak the animal (cow/ goat/ horse/ camel) hides as the ammonia in the shit can soften the skin.
the colourful buckets are filled with colourings to dye the leather.
